Where to park in Whitstable during a sailing trip on board Thames Barge 'Greta'.
There is a limited Short Stay(Max 2 hours) parking inside Whitstable Harbour but there are other car parks nearby. The Oyster car park is open from Easter to September and is adjacent to the Harbour and next to the Indoor Bowling Club on East Quay Road, which is off Tower Parade by the Kia Garage. Another place to park is in the Whitstable Swimming Pool car park next to the AMF Bowling Centre on Tower Parade. Where possible use a Long Stay Car Park as our sailing trips are up to 6 hours long.
we are also just across the road from the Long Stay 'Gorrell Tank' car park which is accessed via Westgate Terrace off Cromwell Road. (Satnav users should use Post Code CT5 1LB for the Gorrell Tank car park.
There is restricted parking in the Gorrell Tank Car Park on Thursday Market Days

You can drop passengers off inside Whitstable Harbour but cannot take cars along the South Quay where the 'GRETA' is moored. (just a short walk from the drop off points)
During the Whitstable Oyster Festival and Whitstable Harbour Day, parking is at a premium and it can be hard to find a parking space.
